About guest access
You don't need an account to read, post, vote or sign up. Here is what that means.
Your name is not checked
Anyone can type any name. A name on a guest message has not been verified. Only church staff have a Staff badge, and guests can't get one or use titles such as “Pastor”.
Your guest name lives on this device
We remember you with a secure cookie in this browser. If you clear your browser data, use a private window, or switch to another phone or computer, the app won't know you there. You then can't edit or delete what you posted, or change your sign-ups, from that device.
To avoid that, go to My guest key and save your guest key link, or get a short transfer code to use on another device.
On iPhone: the home-screen app is separate
If you add this app to an iPhone home screen, it keeps its own storage apart from Safari. Use a transfer code to bring your guest name into the app.
What this means for everyone
- Moderators can pause a guest's posting, but a determined person could start again with a new guest name. We watch for repeat problems and can hold messages for review.
- Poll results are informal. We limit repeat voting from one device, but someone could vote again from another device.
- Many people share the church Wi-Fi, so we don't block people just because they share an internet connection.
